GriefShare Program

To help those who are in the midst of a grief journey, we are bringing GriefShare to Northampton. Beginning January 10th and meeting weekly on Sundays through March 20th from 6:30-

8:30pm, the group helps people through the unique challenges of grief and to move toward rebuilding their lives. The purchase of the GriefShare workbook is $15, but we have some scholarship money put aside to cover the materials.se who need it. If you’d like to register for GriefShare, please go to our website www.numchurch.org. In order for us to order the materials in a timely fashion, registration deadline is January 3rd.

Capes of Courage Cutting Session

1pm and/or Saturday, January 9th from 9am-1pm cutting capes and making an impact on the lives of kids facing situations where a little extra courage is always helpful! Contact Debby Rowland ([email protected]) for more info.

Youth Lock-In December 27-28th 9pm-7am

Come for Radi8’s Lock-In on Sunday, December 27-28th for a night filled with great events. There will be free food and drinks throughout the night. Teens and friends welcome! RSVP by Wednesday, December 23rd Register online.

Teens and Food

If you would love to bring a fun snack for the teens to eat during our lock-in, we would be very appreciative! Email Serene at [email protected] if you are willing to help.

Communion

United Methodists regard Communion as a sacrament - an act of worship ordained by Christ and is a means of grace. This does not mean that we become any more worthy of God’s grace by taking part in Communion. Rather, we open ourselves to the divine love that’s already there; we become more ready to re-ceive that love and to respond to it. We welcome all who want to be in relationship with Jesus to receive communion today. At the left front serving station, gluten-free crackers/ wafers are available upon request by anyone needing this special dietary accommodation. Mention this need as you receive the "Body of Christ.”

Christmas Eve Services

Please join us for worship on December 24th at 7pm, 9pm or 11pm. The 7pm and 9pm services are geared towards family while the 11pm service is more contemplative. Christmas Eve is a beautiful time to focus on the true reason we celebrate! Though we love to have the children in worship with us, childcare will be available at the 7pm service for infants through 6 years.

Christmas Offering

Each year we tithe on our Christmas offering. This year, 10% of the offering taken will supplement our December Mission of the Month by purchasing mittens, socks, hats, scarves and coats for kids who may need them at Woodridge Primary School.

Winter Small Groups Tuesday Night Community resumes on January 5th. You can register for classes on our website - www.numchurch.org!
