These next two full sisters are equally as exciting as any of their full sisters that have walked through the Wright Charolais sale ring and the show arenas of American! Their sire Rapid Fire was of course the National Reserve Grand Champion a few years ago, but has sired many breed greats across the board. And the dam of these heifers has continued her string of successful progeny throughout the United States too. A full sister to these heifers sold in the 2015 Wright Charolais Female Sale for $13,000. Another full sister was Junior Calf Champion at the American Royal and another was the 2015 Reserve Grand Champion Heifer at the Houston Livestock Show. This heifer WC Angelina 7126 P ET is a full sister to WC Kourtney 5282 P that sold in our 2015 sale for $37,000 to Makayla Houck, Prescott, Iowa. Kourtney was campaigned well wherever she went winning the 2015 National Junior Calf Champion just before that sale, Reserve Grand Champion at 2016 Fort Worth and captured the AICA 2015-16 Show Heifer of the Year honors! Her sire has been doing the job right for years and a sire at Wright Charolais that is being used more and more. It is safe to say that this genetic package is a sure bet. Maternal sister sells as lot 35.

Looking for a winner? She was just selected the Grand Champion Female at the 2017 Tulsa State Fair! She is another WC Up The Limit daughter that is in the January class instead of the February class her sister above is in. A one-half interest in WC Up The Limit 1128 sold in the 2012 Wright Charolais Bull Sale for $27,500. His first six sons sold in the 2014 Wright Charolais Bull Sale averaged $11,375. The dam of this pros-pect was born in the spring of 2012 and has a calving interval of: 1-26-14 well before her second birthday and weaned at 699 lbs., her next daughter born 3-15-15 sold to Mountain Meadows in Vermont, then a bull calf on 2-7-16 that weaned at 756 lbs. and now 1-9-17 weaning at 694 lbs., there is performance in this heifers heritage.Retaining one-half embryo interest.

A younger March show heifer prospect who had a full sister win the 2014 Houston Reserve Grand Championship honors as a yearling heifer. Her name was WC CCC Mercedes 3255 P ET and was purchased from Wright Charolais and Cody Cattle Company by JVS Cattle Co., Sulphur, Louisiana. She sold for $9,250 and graced the cover of the 2013 Female Sale catalog. Her sire was again the National Reserve Grand Champion and her dam is the renowned Baldridge Sweetheart 7M who has produced more high sellers across the country than most.

You will be hearing lots of comments about how good this heifer is, one that struck me was “way good”! Her sire WC Paramount 4120 was heavily bid upon during the 2015 Wright Charolais Bull Sale when a one-half interest and one-half possession sold for $31,000 to Broberg Charolais in Nebraska. In 2017 his son CCC Major Impact was another highly bid upon bull when one-half interest and one-half possession sold for $27,000. He was a member of the 2017 Denver Reserve Grand Pen-of-Three. The dam of this heifer is a full sister to WC CCC Maverick 5117 P ET in which a one-half interest sold in the 2016 WC & CCC Bull Sale for $29,000. We are hearing great reports around the country about how good his progeny are looking.

If you’ve seen or heard about what these Resource heifer calves look like, expect exactly the same here; big-bodied, show and brood cow prospect! Resource generated lots of buyer interest when he sold during the 2015 Wright & Cody Cattle Bull Sale. When the smoke cleared a small group of breeders went together at $44,000 for one-half interest and one-half possession. He has put some outstanding progeny out there including the 2017 Denver Grand Champion Pen-of-Five Bulls for Zehnder Cattle in Minnesota. The dam of this heifer was born in January 2013 and produced her first calf on 2-7-15, a bull to a weaning weight of 786 lbs. to ratio 107, her second calf, a heifer to 670 lbs. ratio 104 and now wait till we see what this monster weighs in at.

The third January show heifer to be offered and another great one. The first thing to note is that she is a maternal sister to the bred heifer across the page Lot 11 and she is just plain awesome! Both from this WC CCC Ms Brenda 3407 cow that looks like she is heading to the donor barn. She was an ET out of the very productive WCCC Ms Impressed 6510 that headlined many top sellers in the Wright and Cody Cattle sales. #6510 was the 2010 National Grand Champion Cow/calf Pair. She was a daughter out of the National Champion bull PF Impressed and out of a Southern Cattle Company donor, one of Peugeot’s very best daughters. The maternal grand dam CR Miss Duke 157 was a $20,000 cow 20 years ago that M6 Ranches built an entire cow family out of that went back to M6 Ms E46’s Duke 248, the grand dam of M6 New Standard.

She offers us the same look across the page to her maternal sister bred heifer Lot 12! These Rushmore daughters are hard to pry away from Chris and Derry, but here is a young April heifer that will have many friends sale day. Just look at the WC Benelli sired maternal sister across the page to see what she will develop into when her show career is over. This heifer descends from the same cow family that produced the National Champion Bull Templeton. This heifer is bred to perform, with Rushmore, LT Blue Mountain and Rocketfuel in it.

Spring Calving Bred Heifers

This huge bodied future donor is a sale feature! Her dam is an unbelievable producer. Her first calf is a herd sire for Dr. Cooper in Texas. This bred heifer was her second calf and her third calf is featured in the open heifer division of this sale as Lot 9. These WC Benelli daughters are making some kind of brood cows and she will have a calf for you out of our new herd sire M6 Comfort Zone 227.


Andrew Craven purchased this heifer as an open heifer from us and has been showing her successfully. Her dam has been a great producer from the #7188 cow family that produced the National Champion Bull Templeton. Her Rushmore maternal sister sells as Lot 10. She sells guaranteed bred AI to WC Executive 6211 P that topped last spring’s WC Bull Sale at $110,000 for half interest and half possession. There was no clean up bull used.

These good looking Rushmore daughters just keep coming at you. This one comes from Cody’s good set of cows that goes back to the great CCC West Covina sire. The dam of this heifer calved a month before her second birthday on 1-20-15 and weaned that bull calf off to a 779 lbs. weight and her next calf born 1-18-16 a heifer to a 677 lbs. weaning weight.


Another Rushmore daughter out of a steady producing Blue Value daughter that is also selling as Lot 40. Check out her calving interval. Her grand dam was purchased from the Ron Bock dispersal in North Dakota. This combination of Up The Limit and Rio Bravo is hard to beat. This is one high performing, stout bred heifer. Her dam is an ET product out of the dam of $77,000 LT Thundering Wind. She has only produced heifer calves for us, five total, that had an average weaning weight of 685.7 lbs., average ratio of 106.3, plus one set of twin heifer calves that weaned off at 596 and 708 lbs. She sells bred to WC Executive 6211 P, the $110,000 Rushmore son that topped this past spring bull sale.

This one is the natural born daughter out of one of our most dependable donors ever SCC Miss 3027, who’s Milestone ET bull calves are favorites of many here at the ranch this year. This great cow has never had us a heifer calf, but every son has made the bull sale every year. Her calving interval: 2-26-11, 2-25-12, then a set of ET calves, 3-9-14, 3-2-15, 2-1-16 & 2-1-17. The average weaning weight of those bull calves was 731 lbs., two of them are purebred herd sires for Valley View Charolais in Montana and for Toste Charolais in California. This is a super impressive M6 New Standard daughter out of an equally impressive Wyoming Wind cow. She first came off her dam with an outstanding 742 lbs. weaning weight to ratio 116 since then her calving interval has been 1-22-15, 1-15-16, both bull calves that weaned at 820 lbs. and 764 lbs. and both sold to commercial breeders in Texas. Her 2009 born dam has also been productive with her last three bull calves posting adjusted weaning weights of 751, 831 & 794 lbs. Which all results in an amazing set of EPD’s across the board. This cow’s 1-8-17 WC Milestone bull calf easily made the Denver pen cut.

Blue Value daughters are hard to beat for production and this one produces with the best of them. Her first two calves were bulls born on 1-18-14 & 3-14-15 and had adjust-ed weaning weights of 829 lbs. and 816 lbs. with ratios of 111 & 108. Her next calf born 3-6-16, a heifer weaned with a 103 ratio and sold to Mountain Meadows in Vermont.
