Replying to yours of the l'th, we will give you a
discount of $200 . on each machine if you buy five machines for cash
Regarding rental, it is now our custom to require one
year's rental in advance . We would not be justified in sending
such valuable maohines 1200 miles from our shops on other terms .
Within eight months we would apply the rental on the
purchase price of the machinee, and in suoh oaee there would be
no discount.
I think your suggestion of one brevier, one nonpareil
and three minion is a good one . I will send you in a day or two,
as soon as it comes from the press, our specimen book of faces,
so that you can see how the different type look 1n so11d as well l:
as when l paded.
