Brothers, it is hard to believe that this is my last TrestleboardThis busy year has flown past quickly. I want to thank all ofthe officers for their service, the Past Masters for theirguidance and support, and the membership for their help and

fellowship. I especially want to thank the wives and familiesfor supporting each of our members in their service to thisfraternity. It was a tremendous honor to serve as WorshipfuMaster and I look forward to assisting the needs of thislodge’s future officers. 

Brothers, is with sadness that we will drape the altar thismonth as our brother, Harmon Bonner has been taken to theCelestial Lodge above.

We will have only one Stated Communication this month.December 5

Instruction.

We will have a called Communication on December 27, St.John the Evangelist Day. At 5:30, we will close the FuneralLodge and open the Lodge for the Installation. There will bea dinner at 6:30 with the Installation of the 2012 Officers at7:30. This is an evening for family and friends to meet andsupport our new officers.

We will be dark on January 2nd

I know this is a busy season but remember to sign up to ringthe Salvation Army Bell. For those with children orgrandchildren, this is an easy way to teach charity andservice to them by bringing them along. I know that my sonlooks forward to it each year.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holidayseason. May 2012 be a great year for this lodge and all ofour families. I wish the best for our incoming officers andthank each of them for their service.

Secretary’s Corner  My Brothers – Thank you!!! 

Another year is behind us and it completes my ninth year asyour Secretary. I feel so blessed to be associated with sucha wonderful group of men. I am truly impressed by thecooperation and generousness of the Membership.

I have been challenged some physically this year but therehas always been someone ready to help and I greatlyappreciate that. There are some strong indications that this

last surgery corrected a lot of my problems. With the goodLord’s help I’m beginning to look forward to the coming yearand continued service to the Lodge in whatever capacity isneeded.

I’m sorry that my physical problems have delayed getting outthe dues notices and dues cards for 2012. I’m working onthem now and should have them in your hands very soon.Your patience is appreciated.

Perpetual Members will be receiving a more durable, plasticcard instead of paper ones this year. This will simplify theprocess quite a bit. However your generous donations inaddition will significantly help the Lodge coffers.
