Dear Office Angel!

There’s magic inside every gift on Christmas morning. Need proof? Just watch

a child’s eyes light up with joy as they open it. That joy is yours to give with the

Toy Angels Toy Drive.

Approx 75% of the toy collected for the Salvation Army with Toy Angels are

collected at offices like yours. We couldn’t do it without you!!

Included are some posters to use at your office, gift ideas and tips for a

successful Office Angel campaign.

We will be conducting a one day TOY PICK UP BLITZ

ALL toys from ALL offices in London will be collected on Tuesday

December 17 between 9am – 3pm.

If your toys can’t be collected on December 17 we ask that you please donate them directly to the

Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper Distribution @ the Western Fair District between December

16 – 20 or at any London Fire Hall until December 20.

If collecting toys in Tillsonburg, St Thomas or Woodstock your donations will go to your local

Salvation Army for distribution + toy pick up date will be different.

Tips for a successful At Work Toy Collection

• Set up a collection bin in an open area – use the posters

included here!

• Decorate with Christmas décor

• Host internal staff events (potluck, PJ days, dress down days) and

encourage staff to bring in toys.

• Encourage your customers and suppliers to donate

• SHARE the great work you doing! Post to Social Media with

the hashtag #ToyAngels (tag @jack1023ldn and @easy1013)

Children in the age groups below are sometimes difficult to shop for and often

overlooked by donors.

Please use these helpful tips to help give a kid a Christmas.

Infants & Babies• Package should say ‘Infant Friendly’ or ‘Baby’s First’, ‘Infantino’, etc.

• Developmental toys (Fisher Price, Baby Einstein, Playskool, Leap Frog Baby)

Make sure the toy is age appropriate by the manufacturer’s age rating

(0 – 6 months) and (3 months+) are in highest demand:

• No ‘button’ eyes or noses – features must be soft and sewn on securely

Craft kits and board games for ages 3 to 12 are always needed

Children Ages 4 to 9 Years Old• Lego, Crayola, Models, Hot Wheels, K'Nex, Disney, Play-doh, Shopkins

• Minions, Polly Pocket, Action Figures, Nerf, Skateboards

Children Ages 10 to 12 Years Old• Gift cards in $25/30 range (Wal-Mart, Movie Theatres, Chapters/Indigo, etc)

• Electronic games (with batteries), board games, books

• Sports equipment (soccer, basketball, football, hockey, skateboards, scooters)

• Personal care/grooming gift packs and accessories (curling irons, blow dryers)

• Diaries, journals

• Creative and craft supplies

• Purses, knapsacks/backpacks
