During 2015-2016, CADES’ Early Intervention Program served 748 families. The funds we raised for this program went to support nutrition and music programming. Early Intervention not only teaches children how to conquer everyday challenges, CADES teaches the entire family in the familiarity of the home where everyone grows.

Throughout Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties, CADES provides

33 homes for 105 residents, with multiple disabilities. With the help

of a team of caregivers, residents live everyday lives sewed into the fabric of these communities and raises awareness for individuals

with disabilities. Through our annual appeal, we installed 7 whole

house generators in our homes to ensure health and safety during a

loss of electricity.

Dear Friends of CADES,Thank you for all your fi nancial gifts, gifts-in-kind contributions, your time and your continued dedication to ensure that CADES meets its vision of Building Hope, Transforming Lives. While our individualsare the true catalyst for all that we do, you are the true support.

Because of your donations during the 2016 fi scal year, we have been able to install 7 whole house generators, purchase gait walkers, provide more equipment and library materials for our “Can I Talk To You” program, support our nurses with new equipment, provide nutrition support, increase our arts programming in the school, purchase new vans and enhance many other programs. There have been a variety of assemblies and programs that brighten the days of CADES students and individuals which were also supported by your gifts. I wish we could capture and share the true joy, comfort and enjoyment that the students, adults and staff feel as a result of your tremendous generosity. You have brought so many smiles to so many faces.

CADES has a diverse spectrum of services that are needed to provide meaningful experiences for our individuals, which through your contributions have remained strong and growing. The Board, staff and individuals we serve are fi lled with gratitude for all your support and I look forward to continuing our relationship in the coming years.

With a full heart,

Julie Alleman

Board Musingsby J. Karl Thomas Jr, Board President

Coming off a wonderful 65th year celebration at the end of the 2015-16 school year, CADES is entering into new and exciting territory. We will have new leadership to shepherd us into the future, including Julie Alleman as Executive Director and George Whitfi eld, Jr. as President of the Board.

The Board, working through our various committees and in tandem with the staff, continue to oversee strategic advancements in fundraising, programming and building needs. We are exceeding capacity in most of our programs. Throughout the year, CADES has continued to upgrade our programming in keeping with best practices, completed many capital projects around the campus, upgraded IT, increased fundraising and continued to provide the exceptional care for our CADES’ individuals and students.

The board and I are deeply grateful and appreciate all the efforts and contributions of the staff, the many donors and volunteers who understand CADES’ mission and chose to support our efforts.

Have a wonderful New Year!

Thank you to our corporate contributors. Employees from Sun East Credit Union presented
