CONGRATULATIONS
Dear Families, Firstly I would like to thank everyone, especially Deb Inglis for
filling the gap whilst I was away unwell. Not only did many of the staff
undertake their usual daily roles but also picked up extra duties to cover
my absence.
NAPLAN TESTING
Congratulations to both the staff and student involved with the
NAPLAN testing last week. An enormous amount of time and work goes
into preparing for this and from all accounts it ran very smoothly.
All of the students who sit the testing did an amazing job and I
am sure our results will reflect the preparation and effort that has been
put in.
MATHLETICS
Congratulations to the students who are working really hard in
Mathletics, the number of awards being achieved and outcomes are
fantastic. Mathletics can be accessed at home and all children know
their passwords to log in, so get on line and practice your challenges
and see if you can achieve extra awards and set a new class and school
record!!
SCHOOL COUNCIL
This months meeting for School Council was held on Tuesday
evening with a fantastic turnout of members. There is some really
exciting things in the planning at School Council level and thank you to
the enthusiastic parents who make it possible.

This week has been education week and congratulations to
many of our classes and students who have participated in a ‘Popup
Classroom’ activity. The Popup Classrooms have been conducted down
in the main street shopping area with classrooms ‘popping up’ to
celebrate Education Week and showcase what our students are doing in
school. What a great idea and fantastic activity!!
