• Traditionally films shot on acetate negatives.

• These are then “spliced” together to form a reel of film.

• These are then feed through a projector which makes the pictures appear to be moving.

establish and document voluntary specifications for an open architecture for digital cinema that ensures a uniform and high level of technical

performance, reliability

and quality control.
