pet licenses Cities, villages and towns issue dog licenses and set license fees. State laws require that current rabies vaccinations certificates be presented when applications are made for licenses - by March 31 for animals six months or older. A Door County ordinance requires all dogs older than five months to be licensed, and dogs over four months of age must be vaccinated for rabies. The minimum dog license tax is $3 for a neutered male dog or spayed female dog, upon presentation of evidence that the dog is neutered or spayed, and $8 for an unneutered male dog or unspayed female dog, or half of these amounts if the dog became 5 months of age after July 1 of the license year. What is a Subluxation and whatdoes it do to me?In simplest terms, a subluxation (a.k.a. VertebralSubluxation) is when one or more of the bones ofyour spine (vertebrae) move out of position andcreates pressure on, or irritates spinal nerves. Spi-nal nerves are the nerves that come out frombetween each of the bones in your spine. Thispressure or irritation on the nerves then causesthose nerves to malfunction and interfere withthe signals traveling over those nerves.

How does this affect you? Your nervous systemcontrols and coordinates all the functions of yourbody. If you interfere with the signals travelingover nerves, parts of your body will not get theproper nerve messages and will not be able tofunction at 100% of their innate abilities. In otherwords, some part of your body will not be work-

ing properly. Some signs and

symptoms of a subluxation of the nervoussystem are:

• Arthritic joint pain• Asthma like symptoms• Arm and leg numbness• Back pain• Carpal tunnel syndrome• Colic/lack of thrive (fussy) child• Disc bulges/hernias• Headaches• Irritability• Fatigue• Muscle tension• Neck pain• Sciatica• Scoliosis (curvature in the spine)• Tingling in arms or legs
