Please hold all original boxes and packaging materials for the carrier to inspect.

We guarantee to replace or at our option, repair any product or parts which are found to be defective in material or workmanship within one year from the date of shipment. Our obligation with respect to such products or parts shall be limited to replacement or repair and in no event shall we be liable for consequential or special damages, or for transportation, installation, adjustment, or other expenses which may arise in connection with such products or parts. Merchandise Returns:

1) All sales are considered final with the exception of warranty claims and orders shipped in error.

2) All returned parts must be in original packaging and new sale condition as determined by Carpenter Industries.

It is the customers responsibility to check parts for correct fit BEFORE installation.

Any part that has been disassembled, drilled, welded, cut, painted, or modified in any way, or is missing kit components is NOT eligible for return. This includes any electrical items that have been installed and/or modified. No returns accepted on any literature.

Any installation, disassembly or modification by a third party on the behalf of customer does not constitute an exception to our policy. Purchaser retains full responsibility for the condition of the part.

3) Returns within 30 days of invoice date are acceptable, any returns received after 30 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns after 180 days are subject to a 50% restocking fee. 4) Absolutely NO returns accepted after one year from date of purchase. No exceptions.

5) ALL RETURNS MUST HAVE A RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA) NUMBER. Please call 1-800-476-9653, option 2, to obtain an RA number. Please have your purchase invoice number available when calling. C.I. is NOT responsible for unauthorized returns.

1966-79 BroncoDennis Carpenter - Quality Ford Restoration Parts

10 1966-77 FORD BRONCO

Production job #1 Oct 1, 1965. Models available: Wagon, Pickup & Roadster. All equipped with standard 170 CID 6 Cyl. engine. Optional 289 V-8 added in early 1966. The 1966 Bronco features many parts exlusive to the 1966 model year. Seats, hubcaps, taillighs (w/ no back-up light), transfer case shifter, door & window handles and forward mounted rear shocks are examples of these parts not shared with any other Bronco model year.

The 1967 model year brought about self adjusting brakes, seat belts and rear back-up lights as standard equipment. Optional Sport package and auxiliary fuel tank also debut. features that were changed from previous model: Hubcaps, transfer case shifter (T-handle design), door handles and window cranks. Front and rear bumpers also received angled cuts on each end, which were not present in the previous model.

In 1968 the dual hydraulic brake system and heater/defroster became standard equipment (heat was previously an option). Electric wipers and outside swing away tire rack became optional equipment. Changed features from previous year include: Seats, dashboard and pad, dash control knobs, door latch, interior door panels, armrests, door handles and front axle lock-out hubs.

Body side and tail ight reflectors, free wheeling hubs and electric wipers become standard equipment in 1969. The 302 CID V-8 replaces the 289. Changed features include larger front grill parking lights.

In 1969 DOT mandated side marker lights replace reflectors as standard equipment.

Changes for the 1971 model year included upgrading the electrical system (fuse box is moved to glove compartment). Bronco also received a mid-year change when the previously standard Dana 30 front axle was upgraded to a Dana 44. 1971 also marked the first year for the Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco option.

No major vehicle changes. Last year for T-handle transfer case shifter. 170 6 Cyl. also receives air filter upgrade.

The 200 CID 6-cylinder engine replaces the previously standard 170 engine. Power steering and automatic transmission options are added (available only wiht the V-8 option). Ranger trim package is introduced.

More colors added to Ranger trim package. New overhead dome light introduced.

For 1975 Model year Bronco the ignition system received an upgrade to the Dura Spark Electronic ignition system. First year for unleaded fuel.

In 1968 the dual hydraulic brake system and heater/defroster became standard equipment (heat was previously an option). Electric wipers and outside swing away tire rack became optional equipment. Changed features from previous year include: Seats, dashboard and pad, dash control knobs, door latch, interior door panels, armrests, door handles and front axle lock-out hubs.

Body side and tail ight reflectors, free wheeling hubs and electric wipers become standard equipment in 1969. The 302 CID V-8 replaces the 289. Changed features include larger front grill parking lights.

Changes for the 1971 model year included upgrading the electrical system (fuse box is moved to glove compartment). Bronco also received a mid-year change when the previously standard Dana 30 front axle was upgraded to a Dana 44. 1971 also marked the first year for the Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco option.

No major vehicle changes. Last year for T-handle transfer case shifter. 170 6 Cyl. also receives air filter upgrade.

The 200 CID 6-cylinder engine replaces the previously standard 170 engine. Power steering and automatic transmission options are added (available only wiht the V-8 option). Ranger trim package is introduced.

More colors added to Ranger trim package. New overhead dome light introduced.

For 1975 Model year Bronco the ignition system received an upgrade to the Dura Spark Electronic ignition system. First year for unleaded fuel.

TECH TIPTo Bleed Power SteeringAfter changing the power steering box or pump, you will need to bleed the power steering system. To do this, fill the reservoir up to the low level only. Put the front end up on jack stands. Start engine and be ready to add fluid as it goes down. (Keep it at the low level). After the pump stops needing fluid, start turning the wheel back and forth from lock to lock. Keep a close watch on the fluid level, do not let it get too low. You may have to cycle the wheel 30 or more times to get all of the air out. Expect noise and do not hold the wheel at the ends. The noise should stop after you get all the air out. When you can go from lock to lock without getting any bubbles you may be done. You will know when you turn the engine off, because the fluid will overflow if there is still air in the system.
