My title is Publishing Program Manager for IM. I help authors publish books about IBM products or solutions. My focus is on both published retail books, ebooks, and custom books (aka flashbooks) in the Information Management area. The purpose of the books is to create awareness for our products and to build the skills that are required for people using our products.
I’ve recently started working on developerWorks accepting articles for IM and Big Data. To help promote the books and articles I have turned to social media for help.

No need to have followers or to tweet when listening.
When you feel comfortable with twitter, you can begin retweeting interesting tweets to your followers. Followers will come once you have a well defined profile set up.

The idea of Facebook is to have conversations with others. A great way to have both a conversation and to reach the largest number of interested readers is to post on an official FB product site. Once you've done so, the custodian of the site will help promote your news by tweeting about it, writing blog entries, and sharing in as many ways as possible. It really is quite easy. Here is the official DB2 site:https://www.facebook.com/DB2community
Suggestions on what to post:I'm Norberto Gasparotto Filho and I’m proud to announce the publication of my first article on developerWorks: "DB2 10.1 fundamentals certification exam 610 prep, Part 1: Planning".
What you can do: Post your news, share news from others, click like, and / or add a comment or question to the post to have a conversation.
