Summer love has begun in the

warmth of the skin, drunkenness

from the champagne, the

smoke between the lips and the

fingers that have become

entangled. I enjoy the bliss of

the summer letting my hair

down and putting on a small

dress to escape in the richness

of the moment.

The fantasy of Dazhell in it’s

impertinence continues

towards California with it’s hair

in the wind and sunglasses of

the 50s sliding down on the

nose. It moves towards the lakes

of Oklahoma, the deserts of

Arizona, to arrive towards the

city of angels imbedded on the

ocean view… The summer

begins.

L’amour d’été, la chaleur de sa

peau, l’Yvresse du champagne,

le brin de fumée entre ses lèvres

et nos doigts qui s’entremêlent.

Je profite de l’été, en

commençant par détacher

mes cheveux, enfiler une petite

robe et m’évader dans

l’opulence.

Le fantasme de Dazhell

l’insolente vise désormais la

Californie, les cheveux au vent

et les lunettes style années 50

vissées sur le nez. Des lacs de

l’Oklahoma aux déserts

d’Arizona, le voyage se poursuit

vers les lumières de la cité des

anges et l’imprenable vue sur

l’océan l’émerveille… L’été

peut alors commencer.

(E)Crea-tiff is the incredible

story of a woman scientist

who loves creativity: whose

research was published in

Nature but who secretly

wished it was featured in

Vogue. Yes, Tiffany Rowe

loves art, fashion and

biology alike. Far from a

commercial venture, crea-

tiff is all about uniqueness,

audacity and originality.

Essentially, it is sculptural

jewellery for the ladies who

dare to be different.

Enfant terrible of the

contemporary jewellery

scene, Tiffany is also known

for creating ephemeral

jewellery “assemblages”

that cannot be sold and

that only exist during the

short time needed to

capture them

photographically.

Bin liners, laboratory

apparatus and even

organic matter (fruit,

flowers, eggs, intestines,

mushrooms) have been

playfully transformed into

stunning works of wearable

art.

A rather unusual artistic

scientist, Tiffany initially

studied biology at

university, spending long

evening hours observing the

behaviour of animals and

specialising in ethology.

Forever curious, her

daytimes were spent taking

communication and

marketing classes in the

economics faculty, all done

while being a volunteer for

many cultural, artistic and

scientific projects. When

she was younger, her

parents initiated her to the

art world. To this day, Tiffany

loves contemporary art and

very much enjoys visiting art

fairs and galleries.

Many sculptors have

strongly influenced her

jewellery making: the works

of Louise Bourgeois, Jeff

Koons and Alexander

Calder have all been

sources of inspiration. The

abstract and spherical form

of molecules also seems to

appear in some of Tiffany’s

jewellery (Electron

collection, Recto Verso

earrings), as do the

influences of food

(Macaroon necklaces)!

Une scientifique hors norme

Tiffany a étudié la biologie à

l’université. Elle a passé de

très longues soirées à

observer le comportement

des animaux, se

spécialisant en éthologie.

De nature hyperactive et

curieuse, elle décide de

prendre des cours de

communication et de

marketing à l’autre bout du

bâtiment de l’uni, en

faculté d’économie. Tout

ceci en se portant

bénévole pour des projets

artistiques, culturels et

scientifiques.

Très jeune, ses parents l’ont

initiée au monde de l’art.

Tiffany en garde

aujourd’hui un goût

marqué pour l’art

contemporain et se plaît à

visiter galeries et musées.

Nombreux ont été les

sculpteurs à avoir influencé

ses créations de bijoux :

Louise Bourgeois, Jeff Koons

et Alexander Calder ont

tous été sources

d’inspiration. Les formes

abstraites et sphériques

dérivées de la structure

moléculaire font également

partie des collections

Electron et Recto Verso ainsi

que les colliers macarons

qui sont d’évidents

détournements culinaires.

Enfant terrible de la

création de bijoux

contemporains, Tiffany se

fait notamment connaître

par ses œuvres éphémères,

des «assemblages » qui ne

peuvent être vendus et qui

existent uniquement

pendant le bref moment

qu’il est nécessaire de les

capturer sur pellicule.

l’histoire peu probable

d’une femme scientifique

qui adore la créativité. Ses

recherches sur le

comportement animal ont

été publiées dans la revue

prestigieuse Nature, mais

Tiffany a toujours rêvé de

paraître dans Vogue ! Eh

oui, Tiffany adore l’art, la

mode et la biologie et ce

joyeux mélange de

passions a modulé son

parcours atypique. Fuyant

une approche

commerciale, crea-tiff

bijoux s’adresse surtout à

des personnes aimant

l’audace, l’originalité et qui

ont un certain sens de

l’humour. Pour l’essentiel, il

s’agit de bijoux sculpturaux

fais pour des femmes qui

osent être différentes.
