Dayton Contemporary Dance Company I Moving Toward ExcellenceThe Dayton Contemporary Dance Company’s (DCDC) Moving Toward Excellence program supports literacy instruction for first and second graders. The grant supported classroom lessons on literacy, which culminated in a DCDC performance for more than 2,000 students in the Dayton Public Schools.

The course will prepare students for the rigors of college while creating a professional art portfolio. The grant will be used to support scholarships for students who require financial assistance to pay the course tuition.
