Days with Ansar Al-Sharia in Azaan

You won’t find Ansar Al-Sharia wandering frequently in the streets of the city of Azaan during the day, but people deal like they are present. It’s rare to find a quarrel between two people on silly or serious matters, as what happens in Sana’a or other. The parking of the public transportation here is quiet like it is not in a Yemeni region. The necessity of punishing offender makes people don’t offend. And that can happen when law is implemented sincerely anywhere and by any party. The law of these tempts those people. No one will oppose what is being implemented since it is a heavenly law in the regions where its people are on the instinct despite its and their scurrility which were acquired by them by years more roughneck then it and them.

I don’t know exactly all the positions of the people from Ansar Al-Sharia and the nature of their management of life here. Maybe some hide a special position behind a real fear from something delusional or real. An owner of a restaurant asks me about my opinion about the case of executing agents who worked for the interest of the Saudi regime against Ansar Al-Sharia, so I return the question to him. Maybe he slightly sympathized with one of them but he is against the principle of espionage altogether, and he is also supports the punishment of this act altogether. With a slight concern that the matter was done with just suspicion. Maybe for that reason Ansar Al-Sharia are active strongly through their private and limited information tools to reach the people to deliver their idea and what

they do completely. The Dawah stall here doesn’t sell what it displays but rather it distribute it freely.

People believe what is present is the best way for the city of Azaan which is controlled by Ansar Al-Sharia in the province of Shabwa, but they are concerned that the situation won’t remain this way, and it is a concern which makes them think thoroughly about what is coming. It is like a Suleimani watch in a ‘Khat session’ followed by hours of worries and plucking of moustaches. Maybe some think that the matter is this way. This is an analogy according to a Yemeni condition that accompanies most of the Yemenis from every afternoon to midnight.

It’s true that they live a noticeable reality that they say positive to the greatest extent, when comparing it to how they lived before, but they live a reality of negative concerns to the greatest extent also. Some and not all. Or a minority to be more accurate. Should these positive gains come through those who the world asks them to get out from life never to return? No doubt this question is in the head of some who live in regions controlled by Ansar Al-Sharia, so they live an anxious expectation which maybe equals their joy of what they fear to lose.

Many have got rid of this thinking, and its questions, and was pushed by the prolongation of the situation this way, to act away from that thinking and these questions. Especially in the city of Jaar. That city which’s name was turned to ‘Waqar’. These are the marriage contracts written in the offices of Ansar Al-Sharia, and the contracts of rent, selling and buying, and many other things... and more than that, many people have expected the idea of making their daughters marry the fighters of the Ansar Al-Sharia.

There was mass marriage for several of them during the past month in the city of Jaar. The marriage was attended by a big group of people. Many of them began to take pictures with Abu Hajar the Munshid of the organization, like the people do with celebrities, despite that the Nasheeds of the wedding were purely Jihadi, if they thought that he was from the celebrities. It was a wedding but the Munshid only know these Naheeds, and his attendance was without prior notice, as many things happen here. The security situation has its exceptional circumstances.

The acceptance is developing rapidly. This development says that the effort of ten or more years of the work of the American media and the media which is allied with it in the whole world, has fallen in less than one year in limited areas since it

was controlled by Ansar Al-Sharia, the enemies of America with its new global order and its new global system.

Ansar Al-Sharia didn’t dissolve in the society. It was the society which dissolved in Ansar Al-Sharia. And who doesn’t believe that or sees that this as an exaggeration or lying or anything else except the truth, let him visit the regions under their control to see with his own eyes the reality as it is. This is not praising Ansar Al-Sharia as it is mockery of the regime which throw the life of the people behind its back and dedicated the whole country for the interest of a tight circle which it is present in and those who support him in administrating the country in their tight and wide circles in this manner. The circle of the corrupt regime widened with the passage of time on the expense narrowing the circle of the people, until the people found themselves outside any circle of interest.

Therefore… how could the people receive those who is confronting the reasons of their oppression and deprivation, even if the confronter was the cursed devil, and how could they look to those who they see want to return them to their previous oppression?!

I’m now with Ansar Al-Sharia, who are accused by the opponents of Saleh that they were made by him, who are wanted by America, Al-Houthi, Saudi Arabia, and the regime Saleh himself, and very soon the government of the opposition. They don’t care what their opponents say about them regarding their relation with Saleh, or anything else. And they don’t fear to be wanted by all these people. They aren’t concern with all that is broadcasted by the media. They become afraid and worried if they didn’t do any practical thing. So they are in continuous work. I don’t know from where do I begin with them discussing many files that I see that they are important, and they don’t see it equally important.

But they respond in the form required, and don’t have reservations towards asking any questions in any issue, unlike others whom I have met, and that is a good thing. The important thing is that I get from them what I need, and they don’t care about that. And also it is important that I do that very quickly, so that their fate doesn’t end under sand dunes before I get from them what I want, that is based on what is being published in the ‘Akhbar Al-Yum’ newspaper about them which many say ‘militants have been seen burring their died in sand dunes’. How could you bury your dead in sand dunes?!

That news made them laugh a lot, and the other news which was published by the same newspaper, which says ‘militants of Ansar Al-Sharia were seen crying after the death of their African commander Kaho’. They gave this nickname, after this hearing this news, on one of their fighters from the sons of the province of Abyan, and that dark skinned person accepted the nickname ‘Kaho’ with great pleasure, but he asked them not to cry if something bad happens to him, also they have cried on his ‘former’ named, which is not known from where or how did the newspaper get his name, and they have never heard about him, also new ‘Kaho’ required from them not to bury him in the sand dunes. The important thing is that this news made them laugh loudly. Ansar Al-Sharia are indebted for this newspaper for a lot of laughing. Maybe that is why they called some of their operations in the Bajadar region ‘operation Kaho’.

Away from the African commander Kaho, and burying the sand dunes, and the wind that comes and goes and move the sand over these bodies so the eye witnesses, in a region where there are no eye witnesses, are able to count it and know the identity of the dead, then they quickly send it to the newspaper, and the newspaper becomes happy with what it hear, before it quickly gives it to the reader in this manner: ‘Death of ten of Al-Qaeda, including two Saudis, an Algerian and Afghan – Death of tens among them African and Arab commanders… etc’ if it didn’t fabricate the news with its sand and dunes, indeed it does that… away from all that… away from all that what’s next? I forgot… I hate to prolong interceptor sentences then that be in the ending at the expense of basic sentences… away from all that I have to get rid of the digression and focus on the essence of the topic. My presence now with Ansar Al-Sharia and my need to discuss many issues with them. And return with as much as possible of answers on the aroused questions… Salam.
