MONTHS OF THE YEAR Month is a unit of time which is related to the motion of the Moon. A year is divided
into 12 months in the Gregorian calendar.
Read it from left to right and from top to bottom.

DATES When you want to mention a specific day of the year you can do it by saying the date. The
day you were born, the first day at school, Christmas day, etc. You can build it by adding
the month and the number of the day (ordinal numbers – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc), plus
the year. For example:
- In the United States of America, you can say the date like this:

- In England, you can say the date like this:
