Activity Report of Mission Sidhdhika-

An initiative towards Women financial empowerment In collaboration with ICICI Securities and NISM

The college joined ICICIdirect.com and National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM)

under Mission Sidhdhika, which is a CSR initiative, aiming at empowering and promoting

financial independence among women. The shortlisted girl students undergone a free training

programme sponsored by the ICICIdirect.com. On completion of the training, they have

undergone the Mutual fund Certification examination of NISM. The exam fees of Rs.1,500 per

candidate was paid by ICICIdirect.com. After the examination, the students registered with

AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds of India) and got an ARN (AMFI Registration Number). The

cost of AMFI registration was borne by ICICIdirect.com. At the end, the students became an

Independent Financial Advisor (IFA).

Dr.Brijmohan Dayma (IQAC Coordinator, DCCL), Mr.Amit Kadam (Regional Marketing Manager, ICICI Securities, Pune) and Mr.Abhay Chopra (Manager, NISM, Mumbai) took the initiative to join hands under Mission sidhdhika.

Dr.Brijmohan Dayma (IQAC Coordinator, DCCL) and Mr.Shrikant Pandya (Project

Coordinator, Mission Sidhdhika, DCCL) conducted the training sessions for the participants of 1st

batch from 15th November to 4th December 2018 and 2nd batch in December 2018 and January

2019 under Mission Siddhika- Program on Mutual Fund in collaboration with ICICI Securities at

Dayanand College of Commerce, Latur. On 5th December 2018 Mr.Amit Kadam (Regional

Marketing Manager, ICICI Securities, Pune) oriented students about the careers in financial

sector, the CSR activities of his company and the Mission Sidhdhika.

Glimpses of the Business Handholding workshop On 17th December 2018

Business handholding training was organized on 17th December 2018 for the students who have completed the 2 week training on Mutual Funds.

Mr.Swapnil Salunke(Sr. Channel Manager, ICICI Securities Ltd., Marathwada Ragion, Aurangabad) and Mr.Rajesh Singh(AVP, ICICI Securities Ltd, Maharashtra and Goa) graced the function. They guided students about the practical aspects of Marketing, the types of products, their features etc.

The workshop was attended by 48 students. Shri.S.S.Sharma anchored the programme. Principal Dr.S.S.Solanke gave the presidential address.

Glimpses of the ARN Registration Camp On 29thJanuary 2019

ARN Registration camp was organized on 29th January 2019 for the 32 students (plus a male student) who hasqualified in the Mutual Fund Distribution certification exam in the 2 batches.
