D A Y 1 / CHECK IN AND PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTSOn the day of arrival we welcome you to the cold north, providing you with warm clothes and the keys to your comfortable lodge.
Settle in, relax and dinner will be served at your lodge.

D A Y 2 / DOGSLEDDING ON THE FROZEN RIVERAfter breakfast we head for the Stabbursnes Naturehouse and Museum.
Here we will taste some local specialties in a traditional clay hut called
”gamme” and hear some local storytelling.
Lunch will be served at the lodge.
After lunch we get dressed to meet our dog teams. Before setting out on
the trail you will learn how to put harnesses on your team and prepare
them for the journey. When we all are ready, we will lift our anchor and
head out with our dog teams to enjoy the day on a sled.

Arriving back in the lodge in the afternoon with enough time to settle
in front of the fireplace to relax before heading to the World’s Most Northern
Breweries for the rest of the evening. First we will be participating in a tour,
and then experiencing their beers through a beer tasting. Dinner will be
served in the unique dining room that is located in the antique shop next door. W I N T E R I L O
D A Y 3 / SNOWMOBILE SAFARI AND ICE FISHING
Enjoy breakfast in the lodge. Before we start up our snowmobiles we
will plan the day. Here in Northern Norway we must check the daily
weather reports. The paths will depend on what the weather holds for
the day. When the plan is set and we are ready, we head out on the
river and up to the mountain plateaus for some ice fishing.

Lunch is served ”inside” a lavvo, gamme or cabin, depending on where
the safari tracks take us. will then do some more exploring with the
snowmobiles before returning to the lodge in the afternoon.

In the evening, dinner will be served in the lodge. The warm Sauna is
always a good place to end a day spent outside.

D A Y 4 / NORTH CAPE Enjoy breakfast in the lodge. Normally the drive to North Cape takes
about 3 hours - however - the road is in a special state in the winter.
During the winter season the road is officially closed and can only be
accessed by driving in a convoy. If the convoy is operating, we are good
to go. Sit back and relax. The road holds some spectacular views on the
way.

Lunch and dinner will be served in the facilities at North Cape. You
will have a full day to go around and explore the Northern most point
and its beautiful and endless view of the Barents Sea.

Returning in the late afternoon, and arriving the lodge just in time for
some late snacks served by the fireplace. W I N T E R I L O
D A Y 5 / REINDEER HERDING WITH THE EIRA FAMILY
After an early breakfast we have arranged transportation to Karasjok
Mountain. Here you will meet the reindeer herders who will take you
out in a snowmobile sled to the mountain plateaus to find their herds.
The day is spent together with hundreds of the iconic animal and their
caretakers, feeding them and making sure they are healthy and safe.
/Enjoy the silence.
Warm drinks and snacks are served out on the tundra by the herders
before going back to the lavvo to have lunch cooked over an open fire
- the traditional way. Enjoy Sami storytelling and some traditional
joiks in the lavvo before returning to the lodge in the afternoon.

In the evening locally, fished King Crab dinner will be served the
traditional way. Outdoor hot tub can be prepared in the evening and if
you are lucky; maybe the dancing Aurora will perform?
