DAY 1: USA / SPAIN Fly overnight to Málaga, Spain. DAY 2: MALAGA / GRANADA Welcome to Spain! Your Spanish Forum Tour Manager will be waiting for you at the airport. Board your private motor coach to Granada. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, check-in and take a minute to freshen up. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant Overnight accommodation in Granada. DAY 3: GRANADA Take a shuttle bus to visit the magnificent Alhambra. Enjoy a guided tour through the Alcazaba, the Generalife, Charles V’s Palace, and the Nasrid Palaces. Have some free time for lunch. This afternoon, visit Granada’s Cathedral. Queen Isabella ordered for its construction in 1505 immediately after the conquest of Granada. Then, follow your Tour Manager and explore the Albaycin quarter, across the gorge from la Alhambra. Walk up through “la calle de las teterias” up to the Mirador San Nicolas. Enjoy the amazing view of the Alhambra palace and the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the distance. Dinner and overnight accommodation in Granada. DAY 4: GRANADA / JAEN After breakfast, board your private bus to Jaen. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and enjoy a guided tour of the city. Begin with a visit to the cathedral. Dedicated to the Asunción de la Virgen, it is also the biggest Renaissance cathedral in Spain. After, take a walk through the na- rrow, Moorish-like streets that surround the cathedral towards the Santuario. The statues used in the processions before Easter are kept here. Walk through Barrio San Ildefonso towards the ancient city walls in the old town. Have some free time for lunch in the area. This afternoon, visit the Plaza de Toros – where all bullfighting takes place. Then, head to The Castle of Santa Catalina. Built on the highest hill of the city, it is now a hotel. Enjoy the views of the city and the olive plantations. Dinner and overnight accommodation in Jaen. DAY 5: JAEN / TOLEDO Board your private bus to Toledo and begin your search for Don Quijote - the character brought to life by Miguel de Cervantes. Along the way, you’ll see wide open plains and small mountain ranges with one of the region’s symbols: the windmills of La Mancha. The first stop will be in in Puerto Lapice where you will visit the inn where, according to legend, Don Quijote was “knighted”. Then, continue to Consuegra. The most eye-catching sight here is its group

of 12 windmills with ethnographic exhibits and displays inside. Dating from the 16th century, and standing in a line along the Cerro Calderico ridge, they form the so-called Consuegra crest of La Mancha. Enjoy the scenery around you; one of the most famous images of Cervantes’ La Mancha.

• After free time for lunch, get back on your bus and drive by Tembleque. Make a brief stop on a small hill to take a look at two typical La Mancha windmills. About four miles away from here is El Romeral - a village with four magnificent windmills.

• End your journey in Toledo, historic capital of Castilla La Mancha. Check-in at your hotel and take a minute to freshen up before having dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

• After dinner, enjoy a guided night tour of Toledo, see the “Toledo Desconocido” and discover the hidden corners of this medieval city!

• Overnight accommodation in Toledo.

DAY 6: TOLEDO / MADRID

• This morning after breakfast, meet your local guide for a Walking Tour of the city. Visit the Monasterio de los Reyes Católicos. Along the way, pass by El Cristo de la Luz, La Muralla Romana, La Muralla Visigoda and La Muralla Musulmana.

• Stop by the church of Santo Tomé to see El Greco´s masterpiece: The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. Then, visit the monumental Catedral Primada - the spiritual heart of the Spanish church.

• Have free time for lunch before heading to Madrid.• Upon arrival, follow your Forum Tour Manager on a walking tour of Madrid.

Discover Plaza de España with Cervantes’ monument, La Puerta del Sol, the lively Gran Via, the trendy calle de Alcalá and the heart of Old Madrid.

• Dinner and overnight accommodation in Madrid.

DAY 7: MADRID

• After breakfast at your hotel, visit the San Miguel Market. A traditional market which has been reinvented as a completely modern venue supplying a range of premium food products. Pick up some supplies for a picnic lunch! (not included)

• Then, meet your local guide and visit the Museo National del Prado. See masterpieces by Goya and Velazquez, including Las Meninas.

• Enjoy your picnic lunch and some free time to discover Parque del Retiro - a park initially intended as a playground for royalty.

• Continue with a guided visit to the Royal Palace - an immense 18th century palace that is twice the size of Buckingham Palace and is recognised as one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe.

• For dinner, enjoy the sights and sounds of a traditional flamenco show as you enjoy a surtido de Tapas!

• Overnight accommodation in Madrid.

DAY 8: DEPART

• Breakfast at your hotel.• Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
