What is an entrepreneur?In our previous lesson, we discussed the

term entrepreneur as a person who sees the potential in a product or service and takes the risk selling it. The risks involved in selling a new product or offering a new service include losing money over it. The reward on the other hand , is when people see the benefit of buying the product or availing of the service.

As an addition to what we are discussed, The people in the marketplace who are selling items or offering services for a fee are called entrepreneurs.

Some of the businesses may be simple as selling vegetables on the sidewalk or carting instant coffee around. Others may involve larger amounts of capital like selling meat, rice and grocery items. Whatever the size of the business is, the person who owns it can be considered as an entrepreneur.
