2. Registration:

Registration will take place from 09:30 on 20th September outside the lecture theatre (located in MS.01 in the Zeeman Building, marked on the map). Please remember to bring your confirmation of registration with you. At the registration desk you will receive your delegate information and badge - please wear your badge at all times, this will enable you to identify fellow delegates.

3. Getting to Warwick University: Directions to the University by road, air and rail are available on the Warwick website: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/conferences/howtofindus 4. Parking:

Car Parking on campus is complimentary, please use car parks 6, 7, 8a or 15 as marked on the campus map attached. Take a token on entering the car park and exchange this token for your exit code at Rootes Reception.

5. Accommodation:

• Please check in at the reception in the Rootes Building (building 51 on the

campus map), where you can collect your key. • Check in for all accommodation is from 15:00 onwards on the day of arrival. • Please check out by 09:30 on the day of departure. • Rootes Reception is open from 7am to 11pm, if you plan to arrive after this time,

then please call ahead to confirm arrangements for key collection on 024 76 522280

• Breakfast is served in Rootes Restaurant (First floor of Rootes Building) from 7.30am to 9.00am.

6. Baggage:

• Baggage can be stored at the accommodation reception before check in if necessary.

• Please note there will be no secure baggage storage at the symposium registration desk or in the lecture theatre.

7. Internet facilities:

There is no ad hoc wireless facility available to visitors, but Warwick hotspots support Eduroam access (eduroam.org) - please enquire at your own institution. All bedrooms will be equipped with internet facilities via an Ethernet connection. If you require use of the internet please ask the reception staff to provide you with a code when checking into your accommodation. Please note you will need to bring your own Ethernet Cable in order to access the internet.

8. Options for lunch: - marked on campus map, no more than approx. 10 mins walk from lecture venue

9. Conference Dinner:

The conference dinner will take place from 8pm on 20th September in Bar Fusion (http://www.barfusion.net/). It will consist of a buffet of various main course and dessert. There is a bar at the venue where drinks can be purchased. Please alert Ruth Doherty ([email protected]) before the meeting if you have any special dietary requirements, if you have not already done so when registering. Please note that you need to register for the dinner and make a payment before the meeting. We will be unable to register you for the conference dinner at the meeting. 10. Instructions for speakers:

• Keynote talks: 25 mins with 5 mins for questions • Oral Contributions: 15 mins with 5 mins for questions • Please keep to allotted time and ensure there is time for questions • Your talk must be compatible with Office 2007. This will be the system available

at the meeting. Alternatively you could present your talk by converting it to a PDF presentation format.

• All speakers to contact an organiser in the lecture theatre at least 20 minutes before your session so that talks can be loaded ready on the system – the sooner the better for this!

11. Discussion:

All delegates are encouraged to ask questions of the speakers during the discussion period after each talk. In cases where there is not time to ask your question in the session itself do seek out the speaker during the free time.

12. Poster instructions: Delegates will be provided with a poster board suitable for an A0 portrait style poster. Poster board dimensions: 2.1 metres (height) by 1.2 metres (width). Velcro will be supplied to hang posters with. Landscape A0 will not fit on poster boards. The programme includes one dedicated poster session from 17:30-19:00 on 20th September 2011. Upon registration, you will receive instructions which will inform you where to display your poster. Delegates can put up their posters on arrival at the symposium and all posters MUST be taken down by the end of the session on the 20th September 2011.
