Traditional High School Camp _____________________________________________________________
Players develop fundamental skills while also working on team play during this 3-day camp.
Camp Information: Date: July 29–31, 2013 Time: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Location: DCC Toepke Center gym *bring sack lunch for mid-day break
Registration/Cost:
$110 if registered by June 15, 2013
$125 if registered after June 15, 2013
*cost includes camp t-shirt
Traditional Middle School Camp _____________________________________________________________
Players focus on developing fundamental skills during this 2-day camp.
Camp Information: Date: August 1–2, 2013 Time: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Location: DCC Toepke Center gym *bring sack lunch for mid-day break *players may be dropped off at 9:00 a.m.

$75 if registered by June 15, 2013

Gerry Standridge is the new Dawson CC Head Volleyball Coach. He has dedicated the past 8 years of his training to learning the most inno-vative and advanced skills, coaching strategies, offensive and defensive formations, as well as better understanding the history of the sport. He is a former assistant coach under Rose Magers-Powell at Martin Methodist College (NAIA) for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Gerry assisted in recruiting, practices, camps, and clinics. Powell is a former starter for the 1984 USA Olympic Silver Medal Team and a 9-year professional player in Japan. In 2007, Powell was voted as one of the “All-Time Greats of Women’s Volleyball” by the USAV. Gerry has also assisted Ruth N. Nelson since 2004 in clinics, camps and lessons. Coach Nelson is a former U.S. National Team member and former Head coach at George Williams College, University of Houston, LSU, and Iowa. Coach Nelson has coached and trained numer-ous National and Olympic team players. One half of the starting lineup for the 1984 USA Olympic Team were her former college players (Flo Hyman, Rose Magers, and Rita Crockett).
