RESUME.

Composer, bachelor degree from the Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (Faculty of Arts, UMSNH). He is part of the new generation of mexican art-music composers. He has learned from first hand from classes, workshops, courses and conferences from most of the mexican and some international composers from the last generation. Actually his works are played by several of the finest national soloists and ensembles as by young gifted musicians.

He is musical director and singer of the Ensamble Extracontemporáneo (Extracontemporary Ensemble). He is collaborator of the Computer Ensemble “Kurhanguni”, first of his kind in latin america. Founder of Proyecto a la Mexicana, which is dedicated to the rescue and diffusion of mexican music from the XX and XXI centuries. Interested in music for theatre, improvisation and in semiotics in music, he attends to courses and give lectures of those nature.

In 2012 he was granted with the “Programa de Estímulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico de Michoacán” in the category “Jóvenes Creadores” (This is an estatal subvention for young artists to create work in a year).

Actually he is granted with the program “Jovenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes” 2015 (A federal subvention for young artists to create work in a year).

As a singer, he has taken courses, workshops and masterclasses whit several of the finest soloists singers at international level. Recently he is working in the exploration of vocal technics for the interpretation of contemporary vocal music and interpretation.
