Introduction • David Choe was born in Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA on 1976.

• He is a graffiti artist that is still currently active today.

Biography

•As a child he would draw characters from cartoons and movies such as G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and Robotech•Got his first Krylon spray paint can in his teenage years•Instead of painting his name constantly he would paint faces, people, cartoony whales, and punchy philosophical messages.•After high school he visited many continents•He returned after 2 years and went to California College of Arts and Crafts•Went to jail twice •First incident was in Oakland, CA for stealing art supplies•Second incident was in Tokyo for punching a cop •He was in jail for 3 months in Tokyo•He then returned home and started pursing his life as an artist
