Job Qualifications Education : Master's Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from
the CSC
Experience : 4 years of supervisory/ management experience
Training : 40 hours of supervisory / management learning and development
intervention
Eligibility : Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
Description of Position
1.• Provides consultative and advisory services to DOLE officials in reaching out substantive decisions on matters relating to employment generation, facilitation, preservation and maintenance of industrial peace, employment enhancement and protection;
2. Oversees the implementation of research and other projects/activities of the Divisionand evaluates recommendations based on these studies;
3. Assists the Director in undertaking technical supervision over the Division's counterpartsin other DOLE offices, and/or implementing laws and policies and programs;
4. Supervises the implementation of programs and projects assigned to the Division;
5. Directs the study, review, analysis of laws, rules and regulations affecting theorganization's programs and projects and submit the necessary recommendations;
6. Supervises the development, preparation/review of papers/ reports/ project/ proposals/information materials;

Leadership Competencies for Division Head/Chief Positions (see Annex A)
7. Supervises the implementation of programs and projects assigned in the Division;
8. Supervises the development, preparation/review of reports projectsproposals/information materials on the organization's areas of concerns;
9. Establishes linkages and/or confers with governmental and non-governmental agencies,employers, and workers organizations regarding policies, programs, research priorities on Division's are of operation;
10.Exercises general supervision and evaluates all activities and outputs of his/hersubordinates; and
11. Performs such other functions as may be assigned.
