SCHEDULE

MBCB Student Connect CampsA Tradition of Excellence at an Affordable Prices

Connect Camps have become a popular choice among Mississippi Baptist churches. While not as large as many other camps, Connect Camps offer a more personal experience but with the same quality of programming as you will find in another setting. The shorter week also makes it affordable and more accessible for your adult leaders who don’t have to take off as much time from work.

Featuring engaging large group worship experiences, small group Bible studies, and lots of outdoor fun activities, Connect Camps are designed to introduce students to Jesus Christ and help develop followers into bold disciples. Connect Camps are for students grades 6-12 and are held at Central Hills Baptist Retreat located between West and Kosciusko, MS.

Beginning February 1, 2018 you can register online. Go to www.mbcb.org/student-connect-camp. A credit card is required for registration. Upon registering you will be sent an email link to complete

participants’ information.

Cost: $190 per person – A deposit of $50 per person is required to secure a registration. These deposits are non-refundable after April 1st. Online Registration opens February 1st and closes when camps fill up.

If camps are full, you can be placed on the waiting list by contacting Tasha Presson at 601-292-3284.

2018 Theme: DAUNTLESS“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be

strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13

All Christians have to acknowledge that we live in troubled times. Students, in particular, are concerned about what the future holds. Are we, as a society, headed toward some dystopian nightmare? How are they – and we – to face the days ahead?

We live in a fallen world. As Christians, we are called on not just to “hang in there,” but to be overcomers. In 1 Corinthians 16:13, we are issued our marching orders.

Students at Connect Camps this summer will look at what it means to thrive in the midst of confusion, when it seems the natural order of things is unravelling. They will learn how to shore up their own faith, deepen their intimacy with God, and be influencers in their part of the world for the cause of Christ.

In addition to the camp T-shirt, all camp participants will receive a devotional guide to help them follow up on their camp experience after they return home.
