The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has decided to appoint ofEcers in varioussub-cadres of Central Flealth Service namely General Duty Medical OfEcers (GDMO),Tear:hing, Non-Teaching and Public Health on deputation basis from amongst the ofEcersholtJng analogous posts under Central Government (including Ministries of Railways andDefcnce) or State Governments or Union Territories and by Short Term Contract fromsuit,rble officers holding analogous posts under the statutory bodies, autonomous bodies,semi-government organization, Universities or recognized Research institutions underCen tral/State Governments.

3. The appointment on deputation basis will be made only on availability of vacancies.The officers selected will have A1l India Transfer Liability and will be posted at a place wherevacrrncies exist at the time oftheir selection.

4. The officers selected for appointment on deputation to CHS may elect to draw either

tle 2ay in the tevel prescribed in the Pay Matrix of deputation post or his/her basic pay in

the parent cadre plus Deputation (duty) Allowance thereon plus personal pay, if any. The

pericd of deputation will be governed by CHS Rules, zor4 as amended from time to time.

Holrever, the Ministry can end the term of deputation unilaterally if the regular recruitment

takr s place or if the policy gets changed due to any reason(s). The terms of deputation willbe governed by standard terms of deputation as prescribed by the Government of India from

timr: to time.

5. Application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure V) may be forwarded to The

Un'Jer Secretary (CHS-V), Room No. 752' A-wing, Ministry of Health & FamilyWelfare, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi 11O o11 within forlv-five days of the date of

putlication of the INDICATIVE ADVERTISEMENT IN THE EMPLOYMENT NEWS. All

applications should reach this Ministry through proper channel. Advance copy of theapplication will not be entertained.

6. While forwarding the application, the following documents may also be sent to this

Mirristry along with the application in the prescribed proforma: -

i. A certificate to the effect that State Government/Union Territory or the Parent

Department/Organization has "NO OBJECTION" to the appointment of the officer

concerned under CHS on deputation.ii, Attested copies ofthe ACRs/APARs ofthe applicant of last five years'

iii. A certificaie about the Integrity of the officer recommended for appointment on

deputation under CHS.iv Viiilance Clearance in respect of applicant duly signed by an officer ofthe appropriate

status.v Certificate of major/minor penalty imposed, if any, on the officer during the last ten

years/entire service period, whichever is less.
