DATE: November 22, 2019 TO: All CAP Customers FROM: CAP Water Control Department SUBJECT: 2019 Fall Outage Update The Fall Outage is currently in day 24 of a 42-day outage. CAP Crews and Contractors continue with planned work along the southern portion of the CAP canal system. The Fall Outage will end on December 10 at hour 2400, and deliveries will begin December 11. At this time, the water levels along the southern portion of the CAP canal (Check 25 to Terminus) will be lower than normal operating conditions; therefore, all deliveries may not be fulfilled immediately on the morning of December 11. Please submit your water orders by 9:00 am on December 10 so CAP Water Control can verify the available water supply for our southern customers. Some southern deliveries may not resume until mid-day on December 11. Additionally, full operating capacity is not expected to be achieved until December 13. Please find updates below on projects highlighted during this year’s outage. A system map of the Fall Outage can be seen on the last page.
