Transformerless Inverter
The string inverter HSI20 is a special transformerless development for TN-grids. The inverter was designed using the
newest efficiency-opmized technology in order to get higher returns from the solar installaon. Right from the start, all
devices to be installed were chosen with respect to loss reducon: The IP65 casing is especially developed for outdoor
use and is protected against dust and water. The clear display enables the visualizaon of the last 365 days. The monitor-
ing can be provided with our Data Logger and our soware as well as with the solar log.
The sum of these measures leads to a maximum efficiency of 98.0 %. The EU efficiency reaches outstanding 97.6 %. This
high efficiency is unique for inverters of this technology and offers mulple advantages to the user:
More energy from the photovoltaic array is fed to the grid, therefore a higher rate of return is obtained.
Less waste heat has to be dissipated out of the already warm operang room.
The reducon of losses increases the lifeme of the internal components.
The system is designed for low maintenance and long lifeme. Within the development process of the HSI20, a major
design criterion was the simpleness and safety of the operang system for the inverter. This was achieved by a clear
desktop. The inverter automacally stores all relevant measuring data over a period of up to one year. The extreme silent
inverter can be used anywhere.
