Step 1 of 7:Access the NTPEP DataMine 2.0 web site at http://data.ntpep.org

Click on the “Register” link in the left hand content menu.

Step 2 of 7:Type in your e-mail address, then click Next.

Note:

You MUST user your company e-mail address to register as Testing Facility role.

appropriate information in each field, including the required fields marked with an asterisk (*).

2.Check the terms and agreement box.

3.Type in Confirmation Code.

4.Click “OK”.

Step 4 of 7:You will receive a message indicating your successfully created your AASHTO account.

Step 5 of 7:After creating your AASHTO Account, you will be directed to the NTPEP DataMine to complete your NTPEP DataMine registration.

Choose “Manufacturer” as User Type.

Step 6 of 7:1.Fill-in the

appropriate details for Testing Facility.

2.Choose the technical committee(s) you will be testing products for.

3. Click Submit.

Step 7 of 7:Upon successful registration you will be automatically logged in as a Testing Facility and directed to My DataMine.

A State DOT can also serve as a Testing Facility for NTPEP.

Step 2 of 2: The red dots indicate the invoice for the particular product has not been paid. Red dots disappears when product has been paid (no green circle).

Assign a Product for Testing – Lead State

Step 1 of 3:Login and go to “My DataMine”.

Step 2 of 3:1.Look for the

product you want to Assign, to a Testing Facility for Testing and choose Assign from the drop down combo box under Actions.

2.Click “Go”.

Step 3 of 3:1.Choose Testing

Facility for each test needs to be completed.

2.Provide a comment in the comment box, stating this product is now ready to be tested.

3.Click “OK”. An automated e-mail will then be sent to the testing facility and AASHTO indicating this product has been assigned.

Step 2 of 3:1.For the product you

want to input test results, choose “Test” under the Data column,.

Step 3 of 3:1.Select appropriate

Tab to go to the test you want to input data for.

2.You can either type in the data or copy-and-paste it from an excel spreadsheet. To copy-and-paste, copy cells from the spreadsheet, put the cursor at appropriate location on the data screen , and Select Paste button.

3.Click “Save” to save data in the database before leaving the screen

Release Test Results – Testing Facility

Step 1 of 2In order to release data for a product:

1. Select Release from the combo box in the Action column.

2. Click Go.

boxes for the tests data has been reported for.

2.In the comment box, indicate to the Lead State that data is ready for review, click “OK”.

Note:

At this point, the Lead State will receive an e-mail notifying them data has been entered and is ready for review.

“My DataMine”.

2.Scroll down the page until you see the product listed you are looking to review data for.

3.Under the Data column, select Test from the drop-down combo box then click Go.

your product (system).

2.Once you are finished reviewing, click the “Back” button to return to your “My DataMine” page.

Note:

Data is in red color at this stage in the review/release process because it is set to on-hold (Data will not be viewable to manufacturer).

you want to take action on. If you want all of the test data to be released to manufacturer, select all of the boxes and include a comment indicating data released for manufacturer review.

Product Test Reports - Example: ECP

Note:

Not all technical committees have test reports. The technical committees who do not create test reports utilize the data tables.

you want to search for.

2.Type in the Product Name or NTPEP Number if you want to search for one particular product (system).

Step 3 of 5:The search results will appear below your selected search criteria.

1. To export the results into Microsoft Excel, click “Export Results”

2. To save the search to be used again in the future, click “Save Search”.

Step 4 of 5:If you save search criteria , click “Save Search”, the system will ask you to give this particular search a name. Then select “Save” the search criteria. You will be able to perform the search again by selecting Saved Search tab,

AASHTO can save search criteria for sharing with manufactures and States.

saved search criteria, select “Saved Search.”
