BlueVault Identity Suite for Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010

The BlueVault Role Manager is an add-on for Microsoft’s FIM Suite. It provides a strong hierarchical role-based access control mechanism for account provisioning and security. It abstracts common elements of identity access and provisioning into “roles,” allowing quick and consistent user provisioning. Roles may include tasks, responsibilities, and qualifications associated within the enterprise.

BlueVault Account Manager is an add-on for Microsoft’s FIM Suite. It extends FIM’s abilities to manage accounts, extending the functionality to non-employees and external identities across the enterprise. It features a web-based account request process, which allows internal staff to request and approve identities for third-party and external vendors and entities.

BlueVault Reporting Services is an add-on for Microsoft’s FIM Suite that provides advanced role and access auditing and reporting for a Forefront environment. The report gateway provides a real-time and historical view into access and permissions throughout the Forefront environment.

The BlueVault product for SSPR is integrated with FIM to allow for external users to use FIM for password registration and reset without having a domain connected workstation or FIM client extension tools installed.
