WHAT IS BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION?Business administration has come to encompass an extraordinary number of academic study areas. As business has become more complex, so too has the
oversight of companies: their management, their growth strategies, their personnel issues, their taxes and the role that taxes play in corporate economic strategy. Advertising has grown to include multiple
media outlets and an assortment of targeted interest groups: new customers, repeat customers,
stockholders, investors and new geographic markets. Marketing has become the term of choice for all of this
strategically placed product exposure.
POLICY
• A plan or course of action, as of a government, political party, or business, intended to influence and determine decisions, actions, and other matters;
• A course of action, guiding principle, or procedure considered expedient, prudent, or advantageous;
• Prudence, shrewdness, or sagacity in practical matters.

POLICY1. Politics: (1) The basic principles by which a government

BUSINESS POLICY1. Business Policy defines the scope or spheres within which
decisions can be taken by the subordinates in an organization. 2. It permits the lower level management to deal with the
problems and issues without consulting top level management every time for decisions.
3. Business policies are the guidelines developed by an organization to govern its actions. They define the limits within which decisions must be made.
4. Business policy also deals with acquisition of resources with which organizational goals can be achieved.
5. Business policy is the study of the roles and responsibilities of top level management, the significant issues affecting organizational success and the decisions affecting organization in long-run.
POLICY
A set of decisions which are oriented towards a long-term purpose or to a particular problem.
Such decisions by governments are often embodied in legislation and usually apply to a
country as a whole rather than to one part of it.Public administration acts as a political
instrument as well as a social instrument.It involves value dilemmas.
POLICYAturan tertulis yang merupakan keputusan resmi
organisasi, bertujuan jangka panjang untuk membentuk tatanilai baru sekaligus
menyelesaikan masalah. Policy bersifat mengikat dan akan menjadi rujukan dalam
mengambil keputusan dalam organisasi, serta menjadi aturan berperilaku sehingga akan menghasilkan kehidupan yang harmonis.
