ABOUT US
RK Group commenced its operations in 2006 by providing Optic Fibre Projects management and consultancy services to major Telco’s, SME, Corporate and Cable TV Operations in Surat.
RK Group has a good infrastructure with four regional offices and more than 22 site offices all over India. RK organization is headed by Mr. Rajendra N Sheth (MD) who is having more than 25 years of experience in related field. Today, RK Group has more than 250 team members with necessary expertise and qualifications.
Based on significant expertise in OFC project management, RK Group started deploying its own Fibre infrastructure in and around Surat. By the way of acquisition and self deployment, RK Group has underground OFC Networks measuring 200 Kms in Surat. RK Group’s network infrastructure is appropriate for catalyzing the growth of the Internet and Telco’s networking in an infrastructure starved market.
RK Group is the only service provider in its domain that provides customers with end-to-end connectivity services. This unique combination of services is what distinguishes RK from its competitors.
Accreditation
We have obtained IP-I (Infrastructure Provider: Category-I) certificate from Department of Telecom (Govt. of India) to lease out or shell out the Infrastructure. Accordingly we can lease out fiber core or pair and Ducts or shell out Ducts with optical fiber cable or without cable.
VISION : To be leading dark fibre in Surat city and surrounding area.
MISSION : Be the best quality telecom infrastructure and services provider Providing an uptime of 99.9999%.
GOALS : To be a leading Infrastructure provider. To grow profitability by internal Expansion and Acquisitions.
OBJECTIVES : Expand OFC Network to around 500 Kms by 2011-12 in such area like Navsari-Valsad-Vapi-Daman-Silvassa and Kim – Panoli - Ankleswar-Bharuch-Dahej.
OFC Network
Our network is designed in ring structure which makes it robust and guaranteeing in high uptimes. Rings are divided into main access ring and spur rings.
We have established our own OFC Network of around 200 Kms in Surat city which covers most of the area of Surat city and surrounding NH connectivity and outskirt of city, we are also planning to expand our network more then 100 Kms in outskirt of city to connect various Corporate Sector which is near to the city. In next phase we are planning to install STM 4, and STM 16 in main access rings approach to delivered high end value added service for out coming Corporate Customer and STM 1 in the 2nd layer of rings for provide connectivity for the retail business.
The network is established as par pre defined International Telecom standards and specifications that are defined by of DOT. The whole network is established with ROW permissions from respective Local / State / Central Authorities like Surat Municipal Corporation, R&B, PWD and National Highway and State Highway Authorities.
O&M (Operation & Maintenance) Services
Our O&M team continuously monitors the OFC routes to avoid any physical dames to the infrastructure and to ensure high uptimes of the Link signal. We have our own equipments and machinery like splicing machine, OTDR, blowing machines, HDD machines etc to rectify the out coming problem in the Network and maintain the permissible minimum down-time of the Network.
Last Mile Connectivity
We will provide facility to connect the customer to our network through OFC to structured cabling, FTTH, Wi-Fi Wireless network for Point to Point connectivity.
