Tel: +36-26-540-570, Fax: +36-26-343-502 e-mail: [email protected] DANTIS Embedded for MOXA UC7420-LX Tank Inventory System The DANTIS Embedded Tank Inventory System is a program running on the MOXA UC7420-LX Universal Communicator. This hardware supplied with this software called Inventory Controller. It communicates with the field devices, calculates the stored inventory, creates an inventory and alarm log to an external CF card. The Visualization PC communicates with the Inventory Controller via a high speed LAN connection to display the acquired data. Thus you can access these data from any PC connected to the LAN network. This system is capable for redundant operation with only one PC, because all of the data of the system can be read out from the Inventory Controller, commands can be issued, and the data logging to the CF card is continued even in case of a malfunction of the visualization PC. These logs can be synchronized with the visualization PC after startup (using an appropriate program). Additionaly, there are 2 independent LAN ports are available to connect to 2 PCs, which makes the visualization also redundant, thus achieving a greater reliability. Third party systems can also be easily integrated because of the standard industrial interfaces.
