The Theme of DanielNames are important in the Hebrew mind. I believe it is the same withthe country Nigeria. Every name given to a child is significant and wellthought out by parents. So it is with the Hebrew culture.

The idolatrous king who defies the Creator of Heaven andEarth by his pride is warned and then debased. Withrepentance came restoration (Daniel 4:34) and return to thethrone. Here was a promise that God would bless even theheathen who acknowledged Him and give their heart to Him.

The hardest test comes to Daniel in his old age. He is found free fromtreason and ground for complaint except in connection with the lawof his God. This death threat also fails, and the prophet experiencesdeliverance from a night of trial. As a result, this Daniel prospered.

regurgitate and rearrange oldideas to be successful againstthose who think they can resisthim without the abidingpresence of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus quoted superior wisdom(the scriptures) which originateswith God. After quoting scripture
