Balance of music selected and performed from among historical and contemporary composers, genres, and periods is arrived at through the course of a year’s instruction and not within any individual concert.

The Herndon Choral Boosters is the HHS choir parent organization established in 2005. All choir parents are members of this organization and are invited to support the Herndon High School Choirs. Tonight we would like to say thank you to the parent volunteers who helped to make the car wash scholarship fundraiser a wonderful success, and to all of those who volunteered at tonight's concert. We couldn't do it without you!
We also want to thank those who have already made a financial contribution to the Choral Boosters. Your financial support pays for many aspects of the choir program, including accompanists, programs, sets and equipment, guest clinicians, and much more. We appreciate your support of our Stinger Singers. We invite all parents to actively participate in the HHS Choral Booster organization. Whatever your talents and interests, your help will be welcome and your service will directly benefit the HHS Choir students. If you are interested in making a financial contribution, please make your check payable to HHS Choral Boosters and have your student give the donation to Ms. Van Slyke. We hope you will join us however you can in supporting our excellent choir program at Herndon High School. If you have any questions, please contact Boosters President Kathy Morgan at [email protected].
Booster meetings are held in the Choir Classroom beginning at 7:00 p.m. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. In 2009, meetings will be held November 9 and December 7. In 2010, meetings will be held January 11, February 8, April 5, May 10, and June 7 (no meeting in March).
Choral Booster Members: Please check the Choral Boosters page of our website at www.herndonchoir.com for a record of your tax-deductible donation. Thank you for your support!
