Management of the disease1. Thin sowing of seed2. Light soil3. Nursery bed should be raised4. Well drainage5. Steam sterilization of the soil6. Soil solarization- for 40-60 days with 300-
400 gauze polithene7. Seed treatment with
• Thiram -2.5 gm/kg seed • Captan – 2.5 gm/kg seed
• Apron – 4 gm/kg seed

8. Soil sterilization –(i). Formalin dust 15 parts formalin + 85 parts charcoal
