Port users are advised that annual Maintenance Dredging by means of Sweeping Operations are being carried out at below mentioned locations within the Port of Dampier:

• Facilities Channel

• Facilities Channel Swing Basin

• Bulk Liquid Berth (BLB)

• Dampier Cargo Wharf (DCW) East and West berth pockets

The sweeping operation will be carried out by the vessel "Bhagwan Renegade" and the hydrographic survey will be carried out by vessel “PHS Zephyr” as pictured. Both vessels shall comply with International regulations for prevention of collisions at sea and exhibit the lights and shapes as prescribed. The maintenance dredging will

commence from 8th Oct 2020. The operation will be carried out daily, including during hours of darkness. A securite’ message will be broadcasted regularly by the Dampier VTS detailing the area of operation of the survey vessel. The vessels shall maintain a watch on VHF Ch 11 & VHF Ch 16.
