PRESS RELEASE DAMANSARA REALTY SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR RM467.3 MILLION PPA1M PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN PUTRAJAYA Towards a more developed and affordable Putrajaya. KUALA LUMPUR, 17 October 2016 – Bursa Main Board-listed Damansara Realty Berhad (“DBhd” or the “Group”) said today that it has signed an agreement for an 11.9-acre development in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s federal administrative capital, with a potential gross development cost of RM467.3 million. DBhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Damansara Realty (Johor) Sdn Bhd (“DRJ”) signed the agreement with Putrajaya Corporation (“PJC”) to develop the Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (“PPA1M”) project which will comprise 1,350 residential units and 45 commercial units at Presinct 5, Putrajaya. The signing ceremony was officiated by PJC President, Datuk Seri Hasim Ismail. Development will complete by the end of 2019. The Group will recognise revenue from the PPA1M project in the current financial year ending 31 December 2016 (“FY2016”). This contribution is expected to increase significantly in the financial year ending 31 December 2017 (“FY2017”). Mr. Brian Iskandar Zulkarim, DBhd’s Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “Putrajaya is the administrative hub of the Malaysian Government. We are confident of a healthy take-up rate in view of the project’s strategic location. A risk mitigating factor is that PJC has agreed to

purchase remaining unsold units after a certain period. This project will play a significant role in Damansara Realty’s efforts to accelerate its property development business in various parts of Malaysia.” On 15 October 2016, DBhd announced a joint venture with Country Garden Holdings Company Limited, one of China’s largest property developers, to develop a 53-acre freehold land parcel in Johor Bahru into an integrated township to be known as Central Park. The joint venture marks a significant milestone for DBhd which will execute this large-scale property project alongside a globally renowned developer. DBhd also has an ongoing development in Kuantan, Pahang, on a 500-acre land parcel. On 26 September 2016, DBhd said it had secured a RM124 million contract to provide facilities management and catering services to Petronas’ Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (“RAPID”) complex in Pengerang, Johor. The contract will be undertaken by a joint venture between DBhd’s subsidiary TMR Urusharta Sdn Bhd and L.C. Catering Sdn Bhd.
