Double Loop Stitch (DLP) – Bring yarn between middle and index fingers and wrap forward around index finger 2 ½ times (you should have 3 loops on finger). Insert hook in indicated st, bring hook over working yarn and then through 3 loops on finger, pull fingers to get loops to desired length, pull all 3 loops through stitch (now have 4 loops on hook), yo and pull through to complete stitch.

DAISY CENTERRound 1: using yellow yarn ch 4, sl st in first chain to join.

Now work in continuous round, DO NOT JOIN.

Round 2: 2 sc in each ch around. (Total 8 sc)

Round 3: 2 sc in BLO of each sc around. (Total 16 sc)

Round 4: Work (sl st, ch3, sl st) in the FLO of each sc of rounds 3 – 1 starting in the next sc and working in continuous round from the outside (Round 3) towards the center (Round 1), then work 2 more (sl st, ch3, sl st) in center to fill in. Fasten off yellow yarn.

DAISY PETALTurn work over and work in BLO of Round 3

Join white with a sl st in any sc BLO of Round 3

Round 1: Make DLP in same stitch as join and in each sc around, join to first st with sl st. Fasten off white yarn. (16 – double loop stitches or 32 loops)Weave in all ends and sew safety pin/brooch pin to back of daisy.
