Step 1: Match output torque of engine to input torque of transmission Step 2: Match % of engine horsepower to transmission splits (90%, 85%, % at peak engine torque) Answer two key questions: • Does the transmission have the torque capacity to match the engine input torque? • Does the engine power output match the transmission steps? - Ideally, the engine and the transmission should be matched together to keep the engine at approximately 90% of its power at all times for the maximum performance. 85% power will work. Determine the % step in RPM at: • 90% of engine horsepower • 85% of engine horsepower • Peak torque of the engine

Cab & Seat Configurations Both the 108SD and 114SD have flexible seating options for any application. Front bench seats are available in day and crew cabs, while a rear bench seat is available in both the extended and the crew cab. Air-suspended and SCBA seats are available with most seating options. Seats High back non-suspension driver and passenger seats are standard, with a variety of air suspension seating from National, Seats Inc, Sears, and Bostrom, plus bench, and two-man tool box seating available. A variety of vinyl and cloth seat covers are available.
