green with FTSE lead; Dow

The Indian market closed

with moderate gains after

trading flat throughout the

day. Capital goods, auto

were the lead gainers; Nifty

ended up 25.85 to settle at

5416.05 while Sensex was

up 75.73 pts at 17848.57.

European markets were in

green with DAX up 24 pts at

6762, CAC up 9 at 3393

and FTSE up 4 at 5909.

Dow future was up 19 pts at

128540.
