It draws a mix ofinnovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers. This year’sthemewas“TheHumanFactor”anditstronglyhighlightedtheneedofhavingusersas part of the innovation process. The different presentations stressed theimportance of understanding user needs for building technology that effectivelysolve social problems. Besides that, innovators signalled that for getting theirinnovation right they needed many iterations of testing and refining theirsproducts.ThisisindeedthecornerstoneoftheSOCRATICmethodology.

3.2.1. Experts in Team – IT for a better world. Scenarios applied toNTNUEcosystem.
NTNU planned two pilots in order to assess the performance of SOCRATICmethodologyandplatforminreallifeconditions.Indetail, thefirstpilotisorganizedin the context of the course of EiT, and the second pilot is organized with thecollaboration of multiple stakeholders from the NTNU ecosystem. Based on theoriginal planning, the FP of SOCRATIC was planned to be tested on a pilot studyduring EiT and AppLabs. However, due to external circumstances, which areexplainedbelow, twochangesweremadeinresponse.
•FirstPilotatNTNU(EiT)
SOCRATIC run an Intensive and International Work Groups, Experts in Teamwork(EiT),bycreatinga“SocialInnovationVillage”insidetheUniversityNTNUinNorway, from 9 to 27 January 2017. The aim was to collaboratively identify and proposespecificinnovativesolutionsforachievingthedesiredGlobalSustainabilityGoals, asdefined by United Nations, thought ICT-enabled social innovation. To achieve itsgoals, this village will use SOCRATIC, a Social CReATive IntelligenCe Platform thatfosters social innovation. EiT are explained in detail in D4.3, Here are somehighlights:
• Studentswere able to propose ideas and solutions, enhance others´ ideas, voteandselectthemostpromisingones.Theyalsomanagedtheimplementationoftheirproofsofconcept,assigningtaskstocollaborators.
•Studentswasbeabletofreelyinvolverelevantthirdpartiesintheprocess, suchasNGOs they collaborate with. They followed the Methodology proposed:Preparation ->Prompts -> Ideation ->Prototyping (action) ->Presentationof thePrototypes.
• External experts follow-up thewholeprocess, evaluate and give feedback aboutthewholeprocess.

CiberPlus are explained in detail inD4.3,Herearesomehighlights:
We chose the name “CiberPlus” in order to use the SOCRATIC Platform in Spain, insteadofSOCRATICitselfduetofollowingreasons:
• Themain objective is to guarantee the sustainability of the SOCRATIC projectonce the 24 months H2020 consortium ends by having an ownmodel inside CiBFoundationstructure.ThatiswhythepilotsinSpainwillbenamedCiberPlus.
