New Delhi, the 27th January, 201 1 U R 56(E).-In exerciseofthe conferred by Section 18 ofthe Central Reserve Police Force Act, 1949 (66

d ms) md in supersession of the Central Reserve Police Force Combatised Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno) and Head ClleMt (Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such !-I, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the Group C-I posts, in the Central ~eserve Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely :-

I. Sbort title and commemement.--( 1) These rules may be called the Central Reserve Police Force (Combatised c T Ministerial posts) Recruitment Rules, 2010.

4. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualification, etc.-The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said posts, shall be as specified in columns (5) to (14) of the aforesaid Schedule.

5. Disqualifications.-No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post :

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

6. Power to relax.-Where the Central Government is ofthe opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

7. Saving.-Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes. Ex-servicemen and other special categories ofpersons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

G.S.R. 868(E).-Kexercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of Central Reserve Police Force Act, 1949 (66 of 1949), and in supersession of the Central Reserve Police Force Combatised (Group 'C' and 'Dl posts), Recruitment Rules, 2003, and the Central Reserve Police Force Inspector (Ministerial) and Subedar Major (Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 2007, in so far as it relates to the post of Sub-Inspector (Ministerial), except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersessions, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector (Ministerial), Inspector (Ministerial) and Subedar Major (Ministerial), in the Central Resene Police Force, namely :-

Short title and commencement. - ( 1 ) These rulks may be called the Central 'Reserve Police Force Sub-Inspector (Ministerial), Inspector (Ministerial) and Subedar Major (Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 201 0. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. ' I .
