MISSION STATEMENT

The goal of Dawn Farm is to assist addicts and alcoholics in achieving long term recovery.

Dawn Farm will identify and remove barriers that prevent addicts and alcoholics from joining the recovering community.

Program includes residential structure, AA/NA attendance,employment help, and community service.

STREET AND JAIL OUTREACH

• Street Outreach - literally puts our staff “on the streets”- to meet addicts and alcoholics in the community and encourage them to get the help they need.• Jail Outreach – staff work with those currently

incarcerated to address the issues of addiction• Women’s Transitional Program – special services for pregnant addicts and women with children

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM The Dawn Farm Education Series is a FREE, annual series developed to provide accurate, hopeful, practical and current information about chemical dependency, recovery, family and related issues; and to dispel the myths, misinformation, secrecy, shame and stigma

that prevent chemically dependent individuals and their families from getting help and getting well.– Currently in it’s 22 year as a community resource

Presented the last two Tuesdays of each month September-May in the administrative building at St. Joe’s in Yspilanti.

TEENS USING DRUGS

“Teens Using Drugs: What To Know and What To Do” is a FREE, two-part series designed to provide education on how to understand, identify and address adolescent alcohol and drug use/abuse.

Presented the first two Tuesdays from October-June at St. Joe’s in the administrative building at St. Joe’s in Ypsilanti.
