2. YMM Tower (or YPE Peace River Radio during hours of 2245-0615 local) will give taxi instructionsand if transitioning to Apron 1 (South) will advise to switch to McMurray Operations on 122.12upon entering Apron 1.
3. If the aircraft is proceeding to Apron 2 (North) they will remain on ground frequency until hand-off to company frequency for parking.
4. Upon entering Apron 1 the Pilot in command will contact McMurray Operations with:a. Call sign, andb. Aircraft ID.
5. McMurray Operations will relay bridge assignment to aircraft and request call back to McMurray Operations prior to pushback.
1. Aircraft departing from the Apron 1 will contact McMurray Operations (122.12) prior to pushbackwith call sign.
(or Peace River Radio 118.1 during hours of 2245-0615 local) for runway and taxi instructions.
3. Aircraft on Apron 2 (North) will contact YMM Ground on 121.9 (or Peace River Radio on 118.1during hours of 2245-0615 local) for runway and taxi instructions.
DE-ICE BAY PROCEDURE
Fort McMurray International operates a Central De-icing Facility which is located on the main/south
ramp (Apron 1) on the south side of the airport. All bays are capable of both engine on and engine offde-icing operations concurrently. All de-icing is to be accomplished at this facility.
1. De-icing is accomplished by each of the ground handling companies that operate at the Fort McMurrayInternational Airport.
2. Coordinate any special treatment with your Ground Handler prior to taxi to Central De-Icing Facility.3. Aircraft requiring de-icing are to contact McMurray Operations on 122.12 prior to engine startor push back on Apron 2 (North) or prior to push back from Apron 1 (South).a. Provide Call Sign and Aircraft Identification,b. McMurray Ops will advise aircraft of:
iii. Allocated slot time for de-ice bay.
i. Sequence number for de-ice bay,ii. De-ice bay assignment, and
to ramp 1 - the west entrance.4. Entry point to the Central De-Icing Facility, if transitioning from the North, is via taxiway J
5. If required to hold - the designated holding area is to your immediate right upon entering Apron 1.6. Central De-Icing Facility flow is from west to east.
7. All smaller aircraft such as Caravans, Jetstreams, etc will de-ice on Bay 1. This is to minimizethe potential for jet blast from departing aircraft.
8. Once in the Bay stop on the yellow crossbar and advise McMurray Ops when brakes are set.
