CYCLON is among the biggest Greek companies of the Petroleum & Lubricants sector. The company is a member of the MOH group of companies-the biggest private own refinery in Greece and one of the biggest in the Mediterranean.

The refinery is second in production capacity of base mineral oils in Greece.

CYCLON allocates installation of storage and distribution of liquid fuels.

THE COMPANY

Industrial production and marketing of base lubricants, production and marketing of end (packed) lubricants under the commercial name CYCLON. Also the production of lubricants for 3rd parties (under their brand names).

Sales of liquid fuels through the ever expanding service stations network with CYCLON sign.

Benefit of services to the consumer through the service stations.

OBJECT OF WORK

1980 Foundation of company from Mr. Vardis J. Vardinogiannis and Mr. Theodore J. Vardinogiannis.

1982 Beginning of the refinery operation in the Aspropyrgos industrial area, Attica.

1988 It establishes in the market the self produced products

1999 New market entry. Marketing of fuels and continuous growth of service stations network.

2001 Completion and approval of the merger of the company with absorption from MACEDONIAN PLASTICS S.A. The shares are now negotiating in the Athens Stock Exchange (A.S.E)

It was founded in 1981 (Technology KTI, Manufacture TPL) with initial capacity 20.000 tn/year UO

Blending, packing, 1986

Unit of selective extract with propane, 1993 (Technology IFP)

Upgrade of installations, 1994.

Today`s capacity: 40.000 tn/year UO

Tank capacities: 23.000 tn

Output: 73% base oils 9% fuel 12% asphalt extender

EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme)

EL- 000051 The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a management tool for

companies and other organisations that wish to evaluate, report and improve their

environmental performance on a continuing basis. Participation in EMAS is

voluntary. The Scheme is based on Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 of the European

Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009, which entered into force on 11

January 2010, revising and modifying the Regulation (EC) 761/2001.
