Many maps of Police Authority areas are not very useful in answering this as they do not have a roadmap superimposed and have tortuous perimeters following adjacent local authority boundaries. However, auseful guide can be obtained by googling http://www.ukcrimestats.com/ .Click on “view crime” then “bypolice forces”. This brings up the authority area outline with sufficient main roads shown to enable otherroads entering the area, and where, to be worked out with reasonable accuracy from say a 1:250000 scalemap .Please let me know if you find a better map.

The course codesbelow beginning with NC are approved for open and club time trials on a Circuit or at Non-Standard Distances.Most of them are on circuits so they offer the possibility of completing a different number of laps to provideevents at different distances. With this type of course there is also the opportunity to move start and finishpoints on the circuit either for safety reasons, or so that a different head quarters can be used.There is normally no need to issue separate course codes for each different distance, or each start and finishpoint on the circuit. One exception has been the Naseby - Clipston - Sibbertoft - Husbands Bosworth - Welfordcircuit where the large number of combinations prompted the addition of a suffix to the original (NC16)course code to identify the location of the start. On this circuit there is a marked difference between the timesriders can record on the NC16N & NC16H ten-mile courses which can be seen by comparing the course records.
:NC1A - this code is used whether the start and finish are at Brigstock or on the Lowick bypass.NC14 - this has been regularly used for events at 10, 18.7, 20 & 28.7 mile distances.NC16N - this is used for any distance event on the Naseby - Clipston - Sibbertoft - Husbands Bosworth - Welford circuitwhen the start is at Naseby.NC16H - this is used for any distance event on the Naseby - Clipston - Sibbertoft - Husbands Bosworth - Welford circuitwhen the start is on the A50 Husbands Bosworth to Welford road.NC16S - this is used for any distance event on the Naseby - Clipston - Sibbertoft - Husbands Bosworth - Welford circuitwhen the start is on the Sulby lane or on the airfield road.

Any riders performing a U turn in sight of the start or finish of a time trial may bedisqualified from the event.
Please do not warm up on the course after the event has started.Please try to avoid riding past the timekeeper unless racing.Please ride around the course in the opposite direction to the competitors whenspectating, This is especially important at circuit events.
. (Compulsory for all juveniles and juniors).In the interests of your own safety, Cycling Time Trials and the event promotersstrongly advise you to wear a hard shell helmet that meets an internationally acceptedstandard.
It is recommended that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to the machine in a position visible to following road users and is active whilst the machine is in use.
When travelling North from St. Andrews Bridge roundabout you will approach theSawtry North Roundabout downhill and will need to continue around the island further than is usual, so give yourself plenty of road space and adjust your speed so you can negotiate the roundabout safely.

On the A6003 Kettering to Uppingham Rd, on a section known as the Corby by-pass. The Measurementis from South to North along the West side of the road. South point is identified by a metal drain cover 28ftNorth of a road sign 'Uppingham 9 Oakham 15'. The exact point is the North edge of the drain cover. Northpoint is 47ft 3inches short of the road sign post 'Oakley, Corby' The exact point is Marked by a line cut out ofthe Kerbstone. The kerbstones at each end are painted white.
On the South East side of Towcester along the A5 road. The measurement is from North to South along theSouth East side of the road. The North point is identified in line with the edge of the Sth. East gatepost tosewage works, opposite the White Bear Inn, Towcester. Southerly point is identified by a paint mark on thekerb stone opposite a fence in the hedge, in run in to the left-hand turn to Heathencote.
On Racecourse Rd joining A1 & A43 near Stamford. The measurement is from west to East along the Northside of the Road. West point is identified as 80ft west of a gateway in line with the hinge post, opposite alane leading to a quarry. East point is 15ft west of a fork in a sycamore tree adjacent to a double gateway. Itis approx. 70ft short of the Cambridgeshire Boundary. A large metal bolt head is set in the roadside at eachend.
Start in line with the centre of the post carrying the 30 m.p.h. and restriction sign on the South side of theroad from Orlingbury to the Red House, a white mark is painted on the road. Finish is a point in the secondgateway after the bungalow. 1 metre 51cm East of the East side of a tree. A six-inch nail with a washer hasbeen knocked into the road and painted white
Travel north on the A5 from Towcester to first lay-by north of Duncote turn.Start at the South end of lay-by inline with the north edge of a white Police square, Proceed north to finish at 4 Inches past the north edge ofthe second white police square
