2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi, my name is Joy Marie James, I am fifteen years old. I go to Camelot High School in California. I love to play volleyball and go shopping with my friends. I want to be a novelist when I grow up, I feel like 3. I was a good person, and I never expected anything to happen to me. I did good in school, and listened to my parents. I never got into trouble and followed all the rules. But sometimes things just happen to us and we just don't know what's coming. 4. This is when it all began. Kevin Mann asked me out. I had a crush on him since the beginning. I felt like I was on top of the world. My dream finally came true. But this is when my life took a big turn. My best friends stopped talking to me and ignoring my texts. I didnt know what to do anymore; I lost all my friends. They would start writing me mean things. 5. saw what was happening and thought it was embarrassing and told me he didn't want to see me again. I thought my friends would come back, but it just made things worse. People would start to post things on my Facebook page. 6. ^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V^V I began to feel lonely, and helpless. My heart was heavy and I did not feel like myself anymore. Those words that were said to me sunk down deep into my heart. I believed what everyone would say and began to feel worthless, Until one day I couldnt take it anymore. 7. I told someone They told me that I wasnt the only victim. They told me this this was called Cyber bullying and it happens to many people of all ages. I finally understood that telling someone saved my life. I learned how to deal with my bullies and forgive them. ****************************************** 8. I learned a lot through my bullies Cyber bullying can happen anywhere at any time, even in places where you usually feel safe, such as your home, and when you'd least expect it 9. Treat others how you would like to be treated.
