Training Series to Support TNI 2016 Implementation for CWEA Laboratory MembersSession # 1 of 6 Speaker: Diane Lawver Quality Assurance Solutions, LLC Quality Systems Consulting for Environmental Testing A Registered SBE, SMBE, and SWBE Firm Abstract: The first steps to implementing the TNI 2016 Standard is to learn how to read the Standard and how to interpret its requirements. The speaker shall present the TNI 2016 Standard along with a summary of key points in a series of 6 presentations. A copy of the TNI 2016 Standard will be projected on a second screen for clause by clause training and emphasis on troublesome requirements for small laboratories during implementation. Best practices for aligning with the Standard in a small laboratory will be presented. Tools and resources to improve efficiency for implementation will also be discussed and shown in practice. Attendees will need to bring their own copy of the TNI 2016 Standard to follow along and take notes. A power point presentation summarizing key points and challenges for small laboratories will be provided as part of the training material. Open discussion and questions will be encouraged throughout the training. If time does not allow a topic to be covered, it will be moved to the next planned session. Material from the next session will be brought if the sessions move faster than anticipated.

The speaker shall present the TNI 2016 Standard along with a summary of key points in a series of 6 presentations.
