Responsibilities
● To oversee the preparation, review, amendments and negotiation terms and conditions of joint venture
agreements, main contracts, supply agreements etc., in order to protect the Company’s interest
commercially and contractually
● Handling contractual documentation, potential risk analysis, key timing issues, Extension of Time &
maintaining project documentation as well as reporting on the status of projects
● Coordinating with clients, sub-contractors, agencies and technical departments of supervision team
● Submission of Extra Items/Variation along with necessary Rate Analysis backups and finalization with
Client
● Writing contractual letters and official correspondence to the Client/Project Managers on project related
issues
● Utilised ‘Window Analysis’’ delay analysis method to prepare a written narrative of substantial Extension of
Time (EOT) Claims including all supporting evidences with Particulars.
● Quantifying Prolongation Costs based on actual cost incurred.
● Undertaking the negation process for EOT and cost with the delegated Engineer’s assistant.
● Analysing, assessing and replying to the Subcontractor Claims and negotiate on financial impacts of delay
events with subcontractors.
● Reviewing Engineer’s Instructions and carrying out cost and time impact analysis of instructed changes to
scope/schedule.

Description of Project:
Msheireb Properties' flagship project, Msheireb Downtown Doha is the world's first sustainable downtown regeneration project, designed to regenerate and preserve the historical heart of Doha. The mixed-use development comprises of more than 100 buildings, with a combination of commercial and residential properties, retail, cultural and entertainment areas.
Type of Contract : Fixed-price, lump-sum, amended from standard FIDIC Red Book Value of the Project : QAR 2. 3 Bn Role : Senior Quantity Surveyor-Contracts
ACHIEVEMENTS ON THE PROJECT
Successfully submitted 2 Interim EOT claims and got in-principle approval of Extension of Time of 14.5 months for Milestone completions
Submitted QAR 350 Million (US$ 96Million) of Prolongation Claim which is under review with the client

● Description of Project
Western Dedicated Freight Corridor is Indian Railway’s broad gauge corridor, under construction in India,
which is planned to enhance India’s freight transport abilities. This will connect two most important cities
in India viz Delhi and Mumbai. This corridor covers a distance of 1483 km and would be electrified with
double line operation.

Contracts Administration and Claims Management in KAPP-3&4 Project
Description of Project
India’s first 700 MW Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) plant (2 Units) being indigenously
developed by Indian Nuclear Power Corporation. The scope of work involved construction of Reactor
Building, Auxiliary Buildings, Natural Draught Cooling Towers, Induced Draught Cooling Towers, Waste
Management Plant and Exhaust Ventilation Building, Heavy Water Upgrading Plant, fabrication and
erection of structural steel works involving civil, structural and architectural works.
Type of Contract : FIDIC Red Book Contract of Value over $ 0.273 Bn Project : Kakrapar Atomic Power Project 3&4, Anumala, Tapi, Gujarat Role : Contracts Administration Engineer
ACHIEVEMENTS ON THE PROJECT Successfully got the project Interim Extension of Time of 24 months.
Successfully submitted 800 Million (US$6.5Million) of Prolongation claims and got the approvals from the
client. Approximately 400 Million (US$13Million) of Prolongation claims were under review with the
client, at the time of release.
